ASIR-SABA Rural Water and Sanitation Model

ASIR-SABA

Despite progress in Colombia to guarantee water and sanitation, there are large gaps between urban and rural areas.

The factors that explain these gaps are because in rural areas:

  • 1. The investments are insufficient.
  • 2. Projects require greater technical capacity.
  • 3. Most providers have immense challenges to overcome.
  • 4. Planning is done with little information (no data).
